Senior Basketball Competition
The Young Basketball Association is working towards relaunching a senior open-age competition in 2026. If there are sufficient team nominations and adequate referee availability, the competition will return early in the New Year.
The Board is working on initiatives to strengthen referee and coach development. This is particularly important given the current referee shortages in Young, where most officials are under 18. To effectively service adult competitions, we need more adults to become qualified referees.
